What's there
Jerk Chicken, music, churros, and around twenty other independent food traders. Craft beer, cider, wine and cocktails from four bars on site. Live music in the afternoon, DJs into the evening. Family activities run alongside.
The South Terrace is the underrated bit. It looks straight across the London skyline, all the way to Canary Wharf on a clear day. Pints in hand, no £25 viewing platform fee.

How to get there
1. Wood Green tube on the Piccadilly line, 20 minutes from King's Cross. 2. 15-minute walk uphill from Wood Green station, signs to Ally Pally are obvious. 3. Or W3 bus from Wood Green if you don't fancy the climb. 4. Walk in. No booking, no ticket needed. 5. Dogs allowed on leads.
What's worth knowing
Saturday afternoon gets busiest 2-4pm, families thin out by 5pm and the after-work crowd takes over. Sunday is calmer all day.
