Free Corndogs at Bunsik Brixton's Opening Week

Bunsik's opening a new spot in Brixton on Thursday, and they're doing the opening week properly, free corndogs for the first 100 customers each day, plus 50% off different items every single day until May 20. If you've not had their corndogs, they're the ones with the molten cheese pull that goes everywhere. Worth the trip.

What you get

Bunsik Brixton is at 490 Brixton Road, about five minutes' walk from Brixton tube. They're running free corndogs from 11am on May 15 and 16 for the first 100 people through the door each day, that's first come, first served. If you miss the free ones, corndogs are 50% off those two days anyway. Then they're rotating discounts through the week: tteokbokki on May 16, fried chicken on May 17–18, and cupbap on May 19–20. All 50% off.

How to get it

1. Head to 490 Brixton Road before 11am on May 15 or 16 if you want the free corndogs, they'll go fast. 2. Order at the counter; it's walk-in only, no booking needed. 3. If you're there after the first 100 are gone, you'll still get 50% off the corndogs anyway. 4. Come back midweek for the rotating deals, pick the one that sounds best to you.

What the TikTok didn't mention

The free corndogs are genuinely limited to the first 100 each day, and on opening day that could mean you're queuing from 10:45am to be safe. It's worth it if you're in Brixton anyway, but don't expect a quiet experience.

Bunsik's been operating in London since 2021, but this is their first location south of the river. They know what they're doing with Korean street food, the corndogs aren't a gimmick, they're actually good. The cheese pull is the draw, but the seasoning's what makes you come back.

The 50% off deals rotate daily, so you can't stack them. Pick one day and go for it rather than trying to hit every discount. The fried chicken days (May 17–18) are probably going to be rammed.

The catch

They've not listed the original prices, so you can't actually calculate what 50% off looks like in real money. And if you're not there by mid-morning on opening day, the free corndogs will be gone, it's first come, first served with no queue management.
