London Eye, Tower of London, Shard, ZSL Zoo. Buy one adult ticket, second free with your National Rail ticket.
Get this deal →Your National Rail ticket into London works as a 2-for-1 voucher at 150 attractions across the city. London Eye, Tower of London, Shard, ZSL Zoo, Kew Gardens, Madame Tussauds, almost every paid attraction is covered. Buy one adult ticket full price, second adult free.
What you get
2-for-1 on adult entry at 150-plus London attractions. Kids 17 and under often go free too, one per paying adult. The London Eye is one-third off instead of straight 2-for-1.
The voucher is valid for the same day as your single train ticket or for the duration of a return's validity (up to one month for open returns).
You need: a printed paper voucher from daysoutguide.co.uk and a printed or digital National Rail ticket. Underground Travelcards do not qualify, must be a National Rail journey.
Covers attractions from Tower of London at Tower Hill EC3N 4AB to the London Eye at Waterloo SE1 7PB, plus the Shard, ZSL Zoo, Kew Gardens, and most West End attractions.
How to claim it
1. Go to daysoutguide.co.uk before your trip. Sign up free. 2. Search your attraction. Download or print the voucher. Do this in advance, stations run out of paper vouchers. 3. Buy your National Rail ticket. Single or return, printed or digital with the National Rail logo. 4. At the attraction desk, show your printed voucher plus your train ticket. Both adults need to be present. 5. For the busiest attractions (London Eye, Madame Tussauds, Shrek's Adventure), pre-book your slot online via the 2-for-1 portal before turning up.
What's worth knowing
The voucher is paper, not mobile. You must print it. Stations used to keep stocks but supplies are unreliable since 2024.
Best value attractions on the 2-for-1: Tower of London (£35 adult, save £35), Shard (£32, save £32), Kew Gardens (£22, save £22). The London Eye is one-third off instead of full 2-for-1, still worthwhile but less dramatic.
Stack with a Railcard. If you've got a 16-25, 26-30, Senior, Two Together or Family railcard, you get one-third off the train fare AND the 2-for-1 at the attraction. From Brighton or Reading, this can knock a day trip from £80 down to £35.
Blackout dates apply. School holidays at peak attractions can be excluded, check the voucher T&Cs. Christmas week is usually a blackout.
The Tower of London is the call. Crown Jewels open at 9am, queues build by 11am, you've got the prime hour to yourself if you arrive early.
